The charger plugs into a usb port and then the light attaches via a magnetic mount for charging. The only criticism i have is the odd charging system. I ve had issues with the flea fronts that i ve ordered but no complaints with the rear. Flash mode is advertised as 12 hours but i did not have a chance to do a run down test in flash mode.

Run time is advertised as 6 hours in steady. The light is very bright for it s size. In my run down test it lasted for 6 5 hours. So far this rear light is going strong 4 mos.

The attachment to the seat post is great you can leave it on your bike and forget it because it s so light and unobtrusive. Modes include steady flash and chase. The blackburn super flea rear flasher stretches a good design to its true potential with excellent optics weathertight casings and decent mounting hardware whether affixed to seatposts clothing or accessories. It s compact size makes it an excellent helmet light very bright enhancing safety.
