Those can be nice for a lot of reasons but i knew i d be happier if we erected an island in the middle and rounded everything out to make it feel like one big kitchen and not a partial kitchen and then something else combo. On each side of the cabinets we attached 3 4 mdf to build our custom wainscoting and pull the cabinet space together. The cabinet is the middle has a 5 drawer on the top and a 10 drawer on the bottom with a shelf just above the bottom drawer. A repurposed wood top and shiplap sides completes the cabinet with farmhouse style. Add some colorful bar stools and vola a gorgeous piece is ready.
